I am so freaking angry, I have never felt so mad in my entire life. I feel so disrespected by the one person that I trust the most in the entire world. My sister should be the first person to respect my wish not be the person who disrespects my wishes.

My ex boyfriend and I broke up a few years back after he got back from being stationed in Italy.  A close friend of mine who was on the base in Italy with him informed me that well he was gone he was cheating on me and to make sure I didn’t sleep with him till he got checked.  Now this friend is a very trust worthy friend and not someone that would play games. So doing the smart thing I told him I wanted him gone out of my life.  And foolish me I thought I was done dealing with him and his childish games boy was I wrong.

I found out a few months ago that he was calling my sister, my best friend. Even though they were not friends during our relationship I was like fine whatever just long as I am not the topic of conversation. Next time I talked with she told me that he was asking about how I was doing, and how he could get a hold of me. I got so angry and was like you tell him that he has no reason to be getting a hold of me and no business asking about me. The way I figure it all those rights went out the damn window when he through our relationship in the dump.  

Tonight my boyfriend and I had some errands to run in town. I had to take duplicate gifts back, and he wanted to pick up a computer game. When we met back up he told me he ran into my sister who informed him that my ex called her again. And that he had made a comment towards my medical condition, which granted he didn’t know about but he has not need for that knowledge.

As soon as I got home I called my sister to ask her about the conversation. And I think I may not have handled it to the best of my ability but I felt so insulted by her actions. As soon as she picked up I was letting emotions control me instead of my controlling my emotions. I told her I didn’t appreciate her talking to him about certain subjects and if I found out that it happened again I wasn’t talking to her again, simple!

A few hours later and with a clear mind I feel kind of bad about the situation. Yes I have the right to be angry, and no they do not have the right to talk about me, but I should not have told her that I’d never talk to her again. I just feel hurt, insulted and I felt that she should not have told my boyfriend of all people about this conversation.

Recently the news has been plastered with information about Chinese baby formula being tainted.  The tainted formula caused the death of multiple babies, and the illness of thousands of other children.  After testing the formula it was found that it contained a chemical called melamine, which is used in the production of plastic products.  Melamine may sound familiar because a few years ago it made the news for causing the death and illness of thousands of American cats and dogs.

The chemical melamine not can cause death, but severe kidney problems.  This chemical is dangerous and has no business in food we are feeding our children or animals, but it is.  Recently the FDA reported that trace amounts of melamine have been found in American baby formula.  The amount is apparently less than one part per billion, but melamine has still been found in the formula.  So why have we not heard about mass formula recalls in the United States? Well it turns out that our government has determined that trace amounts of the chemical are okay.  However if your still feeding your child formula they are getting at least 20 ounces per day, that adds up!  

Honestly I don’t care if the formula is half melamine or if it is just trace amounts of the chemical it has no business in my son’s food. How do you determine that a small amount is okay? Why is it okay to use an entire generation as a science project? At the very least the FDA should publish a list of formulas that have tested positive for melamine.  I bet if I went to the individuals that make this decision and said “Oh by the way I have contaminated all your food with a small amount of melamine don’t worry it is not enough to cause any serious problems,” I bet they would be singing a very different tune.

Bankrupt?

In the past four month our government has been handing out hard earned (and yet to be earned) taxpayer dollars like it was candy on Halloween.  First AIG got a bailout, only to go on an almost half a million dollar weekend that very next weekend. Then AIG gets yet another bailout from us, and then four of its executives end up in England on a hunting trip. Next the banking industry and Wall Street was asking for a handout they ended up with 300+ billion dollars. 

This week though I think we have seen a sever cause of bail out fever. It is like our companies are looking for a free ride on the backs of America. The automobile industry made an extremely controversial plea for billions of dollars, from the seats of private jets (not literally.)

It appears the correct answer, take what is left of the banking industry’s bailout and give it to GM, and Chevrolet. Which to anybody with half a brain was not the best option because it only opened the doors for additional industries to feel they were entitled to a piece of the TARF.

This morning on the news, sure enough another industry making claims to their entitlement to government money.  Apparently if millions of dollars are not given to the real estate developers it will be the end of the world as we know it, again!

We are not living in a world where money grows on trees we seriously need to take a deeper look at what we are doing.  If we keep up on this road we are going to drive the entire country into bankruptcy. American families everyday need to live on a budget, you can’t spend what isn’t coming in I feel the government should take a lesson or two from someone running a household on a budget.

A story that has been in the headlines for months now is the story of Caylee and Kasey Anthony. Caylee went missing this summer and her mother Kasey never reported her missing. Once the officials found out she was missing she did nothing but lie about the circumstances surrounding the situation. Between the lying and the fact she never reported Caylee missing she appeared very guilty, and is in fact in jail for her murder.

A week ago a meter reader found a body in the woods in Florida, less than a mile from the Anthony house.  This meter reader has been trying to tell officials since August that there was something suspicious in those particular woods. Nothing was done, and he left the subject alone until last week a bit suspicious on its own. Today Florida officials released the information the entire country assumed was coming, the body was that of Caylee Anthony. 

This story just drives me insane.  How could a mother not report her child missing the second she knew something was up? And if she did in fact kill the little girl, why? At the time she went missing Caylee was only two and a half years old she was completely innocent.  I honestly hope that she is innocent of this terrible and senseless crime.

I live in a small town in Eastern Maine with my boyfriend and our wonderful baby boy. I have the best job in the entire world, a stay at home mom! I love being able to play all day with my son and watching him grow and change daily. My boyfriend and I have been together since 2005 when he messaged me on MySpace!

I enjoy political and social issues. Whenever Hunter is sleeping I am watching the news to see what is going on our world.  Like most people I hold tightly to my beliefs, but unlike most people I will listen to others point of view. I am pretty fall in the center on most issues, but a few social issues I am on the right.

In 2006 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which really was a blessing.  That may sound funny but the diagnosis put an answer to many questions I had been asking for years.  I am not physically affected by my symptoms daily thank God, but I do have my issues.  Even on a good day, with no physical symptoms I am faced with the diagnosis first thing in the morning with a spot!

Besides my son and family, animals are my life. They are amazing creatures who help make a house a home. We have two kitty cats Abby and Cuffer they are sister who are total opposites. Abby is very social and loving, and Cuffer is very reserved.
